Russia Vs. Ukraine, “The Background of the Battle” #2(Part 1)

The Background of the Battle

Since the spring of 2021, Russia has been building up 100,000 military troops on the border of Ukraine. The US and the NATO nations were all talking about giving Ukraine aid, but no action. Much like what the Philistines did before invading Israel in 960 BC!

The prophet Samuel anointed David with God’s Spirit, it was upon David, not in him(. Now he had the ability to use God’s spirit for what he would face later – I Samuel 16:11-13

Before God’s right-hand man got involved, the Philistines gathered against Israel and their leader. Saul had become possessed and was a wimp. He had David play his harp when he was possessed, and the devil spirits would leave Saul – I Samuel 16:14-23

Now we know why Samuel anointed David, it gave David the ability to receive information from God to fight the small Giant later and escape Saul twice when he tried to kill him with a Javelin – I Samuel 18:8-12

Russia positioned its troops on the Ukraine border, and the Philistines took a slightly different approach. They sent this big dude called Goliath to intimidate and instill fear in the Israel army and its slimy King Saul, this he did for forty days, morning and night – I Samuel 17:4, 8-11, 16

And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span (11 1/2 feet tall). And he had a helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass (190 lbs.). And he had greaves of brass (armor) upon his legs and a target of brass between his shoulders. And the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron (23 ½ Ibs.): and one bearing a shield went before him. And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, where are you, come out to set your battle in array? Am not I a Philistine, and you servants to Saul? Choose you a man, and let him come down to me. If he can fight with me and kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall you be our servants, and serve us. And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together. When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid – 1 Samuel 17:4-12

God’s right-hand man couldn’t take it anymore; he had to get involved!

Stay tuned for the involvement
