What difference does it make if Jesus Died on Friday or Wednesday?-Part#1

What difference does it make?

God’s right-hand man knows a little about this subject, he tells us we can’t believe in error and expect his Father to do anything positive in our lives. Error is error no matter how you think, he doesn’t believe in “Think and Grow Rich” or having a positive mental attitude working unless it is thinking on God’s word. On the other hand, God’s truth is truth, and believing truth yields the fruit of righteousness. People and the religious elite do question God’s word by their traditions, philosophies, and rudiments of this world, putting their truth above God’s. Yes, it does make a difference, because he could only die on one date that would be correct!

The Foundation, understanding when the Passover is observed yearly

These scriptures tell us when the Passover has been observed yearly

Lev 23:5 – In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S Passover.

Num 9:5 – And they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Num 28:16 – And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of the LORD.

Num 33:3 – And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the Passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

Jos 5:10 – And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

2Ch 35:1 – Moreover, Josiah kept a Passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

Ezr 6:19 – And the children of the captivity kept the Passover upon the fourteenth day of the first month.

Eze 45:21 – In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.

These are the facts we know

This definitely sets the date of the Passover. It is observed in the first month of the Jewish calendar ( Nisan), on the 14th day of the month (our Wednesday)

The Jewish calendar counted a 24-hour day from sunset, around 6:00 PM to sunset the next day, for example, it would be 5:59 PM. This time varied as the time of sunset changed on a daily basis

The Religious Scholars of today tell us the year of his death is between 28 AD-33 AD, couldn’t they get it a little closer, hopefully, we will!
