KeymasterThe thrill of victory or the agony of defeat
The mindset of being physically healed ends up one of two ways, the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat. The purpose of this allegory is to point out some of the things that cause the agony of defeat. The ways of the world including most of the medical systems and drug companies are motivated by dollars when they treat people to extend their lives to be able to treat them all the way to the grave. God heals people immediately without worldly treatments and drugs and is free. There is a place for the present treatments and drugs and that is to extend life so people can believe God to be healed. The mindset of healing is built over time with the understanding there is a place for medical treatment, but being healed by God is the ultimate goal!
The thrill of victory or the agony of defeat, the BCS college football championship game #1
Jesus competed in the game of his life. How he competed in this game dictated if he would either win or lose, the prize being his physical life, not a crystal football. The two teams that competed in the game were the word’s team made up of Jesus, who was a playing head coach. His disciples against the world’s team made up of the religious leaders of that day, Roman soldiers, and other numerous thugs. The game was made up of four quarters, had a playing field, and the stadium was filled to capacity. The referees were made up of other religious leaders that were bought off to throw the game and they didn’t have instant replay. As the game progressed the refs made bias calls benefiting the world’s team; yet against all odds, Jesus triumphed in the end. Stay tuned for the play-by-play action!
Scripture and verse:
So, when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ – 1 Corinthians 15:54-57For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith – 1 John 5:4
